The audience was convinced that Iosif Tãrâtã's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iurie Medelean was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Dorel Cimpoi kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. If Grigore Cerbu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iurie Medelean showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iosif Tãrâtã in the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd minute Grigore Cerbu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iurie Medelean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grigore Cerbu scored 0-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iurie Medelean, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when George Ciuche stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Grigore Cerbu had several of the Fãgãdãu CSF's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 58 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Iurie Medelean as he didn't even see the shot coming. Iosif Tãrâtã sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 68 minutes into the match, Fãgãdãu CSF's goal looked a bit too open when Grigore Cerbu came free, but Iurie Medelean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lencãuti CSF's Iosif Plesca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcel Dimitriu in the 72nd minute of play. Fãgãdãu CSF's Iurie Medelean proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Fãgãdãu CSF from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Fãgãdãu CSF's Iurie Medelean got control of the ball when Iosif Tãrâtã tried to sneak it across the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Fãgãdãu CSF's goalkeeper Iurie Medelean had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iosif Tãrâtã.
