After 19 played minutes Otaci got a freekick which was hit by Vitalie Costin. Virgiliu Josan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Viorel Conac tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Petru Cercel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boris Arnãut in the 25th minute of the match. If Boris Arnãut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicu Iordan hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute, Alexandru Nazaria left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Otaci fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The supporters of Otaci booed when Cãlãrasi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gicu Proca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Petru Cercel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Boris Arnãut's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Boris Arnãut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gicu Proca kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Petru Cercel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexandru Nazaria in the 73rd minute. Ciprian Timofte hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. When Alexandru Nazaria came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Otaci fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexandru Nazaria couldn't finish the play.
