The tension between the Cricova and the FC Zimbru Chișinău players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 3rd match minute, Cricova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugen Panaite to maneuver through the defense. Dragos Toma blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adrian Colesnic having to make a save. Adrian Colesnic made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ion Dudãu in the 12th minute. In the 16th match minute, Cricova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciprian Castravet to maneuver through the defense. The audience cheered when Petrea Coadã's long shot passed Adrian Colesnic's right side. It was 1-0, 17 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Ion Dudãu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Zimbru Chișinău's supporters rose to their feet, but Ion Dudãu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adrian Colesnic breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ruslan Burduja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Colesnic having to interfere. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cricova's goalkeeper Adrian Colesnic, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 31 played minutes Cricova got a freekick which was hit by Vlad Silvestru. Dragos Toma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 39 minutes into the match, Cricova's goal looked a bit too open when Dragos Toma came free, but Adrian Colesnic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 39 played minutes Cricova got a freekick which was hit by Dorel Izvoreanu. Ruslan Burduja could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Adrian Colesnic made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dragos Toma to strike the kick off in the second half. Ion Dudãu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Colesnic having to interfere. Adrian Colesnic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ion Dudãu in the 60th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dragos Toma in the 62nd minute of play forced Cricova's goalkeeper Adrian Colesnic to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ion Dudãu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adrian Colesnic showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dragos Toma, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Dragos Toma charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dragos Toma the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eugen Panaite sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When FC Zimbru Chișinău's Dragos Toma, in the 94th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for FC Zimbru Chișinău. Ion Dudãu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Colesnic having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the FC Zimbru Chișinău players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
