Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bogdan Vultur took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Izvoru FC's zone, Dan Balaur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anton Dumitras came out of the goal and Dan Balaur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 10th minute, Nicu Gribincea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sandu Bumbac sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th match minute, Biliceni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radu Tâbuleac to maneuver through the defense. Bogdan Vultur's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Viorel Bold read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Dan Urmasu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Dumitras having to interfere. Igor Darie hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute Dan Urmasu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anton Dumitras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Biliceni's Ciprian Delinschi got a free kick in the 25th minute. Leonid Braga hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. If Bogdan Vultur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Izvoru FC's Anton Dumitras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Balaur in the 38th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Biliceni's zone, Sandu Bumbac stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Viorel Bold came out of the goal and Sandu Bumbac tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Dan Balaur made the kick off in the second half. Bogdan Vultur blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Viorel Bold having to make a save. When Dan Balaur came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Biliceni fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dan Balaur couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Izvoru FC's zone, Dan Urmasu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anton Dumitras came out of the goal and Dan Urmasu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Izvoru FC's Anton Dumitras proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Izvoru FC from getting a goal against them. If Dan Urmasu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 80 minutes into the game, Izvoru FC's Sandu Bumbac nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Viorel Bold made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Sandu Bumbac struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Viorel Bold didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Izvoru FC. The crowd rose to their feet as Biliceni's Dan Balaur slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Anton Dumitras. That made the score 2-1 after 95 minutes of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Biliceni players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Izvoru FC.
