Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Lucian Pãcuraru kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute, Valentin Stratulat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Liviu Cepoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Viorel Cazacu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 7 minutes into the match, Izvoru FCA's goal looked a bit too open when Liviu Cepoi came free, but Viorel Cazacu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dumitru Mereutã recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 12 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Izvoru FCA's Dumitru Dudãu fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. In the 17th match minute, Cricova CSF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petru Dudãu to maneuver through the defense. Dumitru Dudãu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucian Pãcuraru in the 29th minute of play forced Izvoru FCA's goalkeeper Viorel Cazacu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cãlin Stegaru came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Izvoru FCA's Dumitru Dudãu. But to his dismay, Dumitru Dudãu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Cãlin Stegaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lilian Buga, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After a rather tough play, Izvoru FCA's Dumitru Mereutã got a free kick in the 41st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Dumitru Dudãu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Izvoru FCA's supporters rose to their feet, but Dumitru Dudãu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cãlin Stegaru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Liviu Cepoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Viorel Cazacu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Viorel Cazacu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucian Pãcuraru in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Cricova CSF's Cãlin Stegaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lilian Buga in the 54th minute of play. The supporters of Izvoru FCA booed when Cricova CSF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petru Dudãu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Dumitru Dudãu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cãlin Stegaru was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Cãlin Stegaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcel Silvestru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 59 minutes of play, Izvoru FCA's Marcel Silvestru made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cãlin Stegaru was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dumitru Mereutã received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Cãlin Stegaru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lilian Buga in the 65th minute of play forced Cricova CSF's goalkeeper Cãlin Stegaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Liviu Cepoi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Viorel Cazacu came out and tried to block the shot, but Liviu Cepoi slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 68th minute. Lilian Buga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cãlin Stegaru having to interfere. Marcel Silvestru struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Cãlin Stegaru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Izvoru FCA. The supporters of Izvoru FCA booed when Cricova CSF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petru Dudãu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cãlin Stegaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dumitru Dudãu, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. When Dumitru Mereutã came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Izvoru FCA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dumitru Mereutã couldn't finish the play. Lilian Croitoru hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. If Lilian Buga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
