Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Cricova CSF's Lucian Pãcuraru started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cãlin Bumbu took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cãlin Stegaru. Cãlin Stegaru dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Lucian Pãcuraru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Liviu Cepoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodor Vataman having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucian Pãcuraru in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teodor Vataman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Vlad Iovu put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Cãlin Stegaru. If Vlad Iovu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cãlin Stegaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cãlin Bumbu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zorile's Vlad Iovu got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vlad Iovu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Cãlin Stegaru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cãlin Bumbu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Cricova CSF's zone, Cãlin Bumbu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cãlin Stegaru came out of the goal and Cãlin Bumbu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Cricova CSF getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Lilian Croitoru hit a great ball. After the first half Zorile were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cãlin Bumbu was the one to do the kick off. When Cricova CSF's Liviu Cepoi in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zorile's goalie prevented a goal. If Liviu Cepoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Liviu Cepoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Teodor Vataman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cãlin Stegaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cãlin Bumbu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 67 minutes, Cãlin Stegaru successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Cãlin Stegaru made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Vlad Iovu sent off a good shot on target. When Pavel Postolache fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cricova CSF's protests and gave Pavel Postolache a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cricova CSF's goalkeeper Cãlin Stegaru, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cãlin Bumbu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Cãlin Stegaru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Petru Dudãu came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Cricova CSF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Petru Dudãu couldn't finish the play. In the 94th match minute, Zorile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ghitã Iordan to maneuver through the defense. Teodor Vataman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucian Pãcuraru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Zorile supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Zorile would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
