Dennis Bergkamp struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Petru Cârlig didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Sheriff Tiraspol. A collision led to Centru FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Radu Cãldare hit a great ball. Ghenadie Burlea kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Grigore Cotorobai to make the kick off. Dennis Bergkamps short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Petru Cârlig to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Petru Cârlig didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dennis Bergkamp went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. 62 minutes into the match, FC Sheriff Tiraspol's Dennis Bergkamp sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Petru Cârlig narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Sheriff Tiraspol's Vlad Curcã slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Petru Cârlig. That made the score 0-7 after 67 minutes of play. Petru Cârlig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dennis Bergkamp, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Dennis Bergkamp could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Petru Cârlig made a huge save. 80 minutes into the match, Dennis Bergkamp had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Petru Cârlig. Centru FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dennis Bergkamp was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. Dennis Bergkamp could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Petru Cârlig made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Grigore Cotorobai managed to get in a good position for a shot. Centru FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Grigore Cotorobai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexandru Vrânceanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Petru Cârlig didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 90th minute, which inside left pole to 0-9. After 93 played minutes Centru FC got a freekick which was hit by Grigore Cotorobai. The FC Sheriff Tiraspol players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
