Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Apsuciems's Haralds Mateuss started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rdth minute of the game Haralds Mateuss who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC AVK's Valfrīds Vagars was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, FC AVK's Donats Vasivcevs got a free kick in the 5th minute. After 8 minutes of play, Apsuciems's Haralds Mateuss made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valfrīds Vagars was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 13th minute Gints Risbergs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valfrīds Vagars saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Apsuciems booed when FC AVK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvestrs Juskāns didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valfrīds Vagars made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gints Risbergs in the 15th minute of play. FC AVK's Valfrīds Vagars played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haralds Mateuss in the 19th minute of play. In the 22nd play minute Zandis Krafts came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Aivis Blamiņš. 1-1. In the 25th minute, Uvis Bulavskis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Orests Ledus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valfrīds Vagars having to interfere. FC AVK's Valfrīds Vagars played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haralds Mateuss in the 30th minute of play. Mintauts Vaļums recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC AVK's Mintauts Vaļums pulled a muscle in his leg after 37 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Jānis Evarsons charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jānis Evarsons the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 40th minute of the game, FC AVK got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zandis Krafts was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Edijs Pontuss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Apsuciems's Haralds Mateuss got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Haralds Mateuss had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zandis Krafts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC AVK's Gaits Kikeris got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, FC AVK's Edijs Pontuss got a free kick in the 65th minute. Gints Risbergs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 72 minutes into the match, Apsuciems's goal looked a bit too open when Zandis Krafts came free, but Aivis Blamiņš reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of FC AVK booed when Apsuciems was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dzintars Jozepsons didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC AVK's Zandis Krafts got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of FC AVK booed when Apsuciems was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rūdolfs Ruvalds didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 77 minutes, Uvis Bulavskis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC AVK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Uvis Bulavskis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aivis Blamiņš showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zandis Krafts, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 85th minute of the match Apsuciems got a corner. FC AVK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antons Jautaķis ran over to the corner to take the kick. Antons Jautaķis made a great header on Apsuciems's corner, it was just that FC AVK's Valfrīds Vagars managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 87th minute, Haralds Mateuss got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valfrīds Vagars made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gints Risbergs in the 89th minute. After some careless play in the Apsuciems defense, Zandis Krafts kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aivis Blamiņš. The Apsuciems fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aivis Blamiņš should have stopped the shot. When Gints Risbergs came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Apsuciems fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gints Risbergs couldn't finish the play. FC AVK's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
