Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Zintis Sprūds took the kick off in the first half of the match. Zintis Sprūds received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Lauris Starinskis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Puikele booed when Odigjani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oskars Vanadziņš didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th minute, Adrians Silaraups sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Odigjani's Lauris Starinskis didn't even have to move. In the 7th minute Zintis Sprūds shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lauris Starinskis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute Reinholds Ezis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aivis Liders saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elmārs Utināns received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Aivis Liders tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aivis Liders took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oskars Vanadziņš, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Odigjani's Stefans Rutks couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 26th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Puikele. Lauris Starinskis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zintis Sprūds in the 30th minute of the match. After 37 played minutes Odigjani got a freekick which was hit by Oskars Vanadziņš. Adrians Silaraups was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 38th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 41st minute, Puikele's Zintis Sprūds ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lauris Starinskis. Lauris Starinskis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 49th minute the ball was on its way in behind Puikele's goalkeeper Aivis Liders, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Aivis Liders didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elmārs Utināns went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 58th minute, Romāns Brimers left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Puikele fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 61stth minute of the game Romāns Brimers who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Odigjani's Lauris Starinskis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aivis Liders acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 64th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Jūlijs Sermulis. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reinholds Ezis in the 65th minute of play forced Puikele's goalkeeper Aivis Liders to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lauris Starinskis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zintis Sprūds, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Zintis Sprūds's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lauris Starinskis was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zintis Sprūds in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lauris Starinskis saved Odigjani from getting behind. After 74 played minutes Puikele got a freekick which was hit by Ivo Uzraugs. Aivis Liders made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elmārs Utināns in the 76th minute. Reinholds Ezis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aivis Liders read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. If Zintis Sprūds had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute Reinholds Ezis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aivis Liders saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Romāns Brimers made a precise shot to the right of Lauris Starinskis. Odigjani's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Odigjani's Lauris Starinskis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zintis Sprūds in the 88th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zintis Sprūds in the 90th minute of play forced Odigjani's goalkeeper Lauris Starinskis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lauris Starinskis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romāns Brimers in the 91st minute of play. When Romāns Brimers came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Puikele fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romāns Brimers couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zintis Sprūds in the 97th minute of play forced Odigjani's goalkeeper Lauris Starinskis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Puikele had won after a very even match.
