The audience thought a goal was coming when Valters Taurītis got free with Tālis Tegins in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Valters Taurītis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Tālis Tegins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Maska4ka Garais's goal looked a bit too open when Juris Macukēvičs came free, but Tālis Tegins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valērijs Viģelis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With his leg Tālis Tegins managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Zidini's Valters Taurītis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 24 minutes into the match, Zidini's goal looked a bit too open when Alberts Lapss came free, but Valērijs Viģelis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Valters Taurītis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tālis Tegins. Maska4ka Garais's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valters Taurītis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 33rd minute Alberts Lapss shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valērijs Viģelis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
