In the 6thth minute of the game Teofilo Cucao who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Beberbeki's Fēliks Zurāvovičs was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Severīns Pirtslāva put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Fēliks Zurāvovičs. 14 minutes into the match, FC Beberbeki's goal looked a bit too open when Severīns Pirtslāva came free, but Fēliks Zurāvovičs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Beberbeki's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ojārs Juskens was slow to take the kick. During this time Insane Raccoons FC's players had a chance to rest. FC Beberbeki's Fēliks Zurāvovičs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Luís Fantini in the 17th minute of play. After 20 minutes FC Beberbeki's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ojārs Juskens who took care of the corner kick. When Roberts Berde came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the FC Beberbeki fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roberts Berde couldn't finish the play. Fēliks Zurāvovičs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severīns Pirtslāva, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severīns Pirtslāva in the 26th minute of play forced FC Beberbeki's goalkeeper Fēliks Zurāvovičs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 27 played minutes Roberts Berde rounded Insane Raccoons FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-2. Fēliks Zurāvovičs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severīns Pirtslāva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Roberts Berde took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Mareks Vārpiņš to make any attempt to save it. After 37 minutes, Isak Krontoft mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Insane Raccoons FC and the FC Beberbeki players grew even worse after the yellow card. Severīns Pirtslāva scored 3-3 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fēliks Zurāvovičs, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Severīns Pirtslāva to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Severīns Pirtslāva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Insane Raccoons FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severīns Pirtslāva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fēliks Zurāvovičs made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Severīns Pirtslāva sent off a good shot on target. Fēliks Zurāvovičs made an important save on a dangerous shot by Severīns Pirtslāva in the 57th minute. If Pedro Luís Fantini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Insane Raccoons FC defense, Roberts Berde kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mareks Vārpiņš. The Insane Raccoons FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mareks Vārpiņš should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofilo Cucao in the 72nd minute of play forced FC Beberbeki's goalkeeper Fēliks Zurāvovičs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Roberts Berde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 75 played minutes FC Beberbeki got a freekick which was hit by Zemgus Mierturis. Severīns Pirtslāva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Fēliks Zurāvovičs made a huge save. 78 minutes into the match, FC Beberbeki's Roberts Berde sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mareks Vārpiņš narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 79th minute, Roberts Berde got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 80th minute Pedro Luís Fantini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fēliks Zurāvovičs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernhards Pakamanis charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernhards Pakamanis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fēliks Zurāvovičs was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Teofilo Cucao showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-5 in the 82 minute of play. A collision led to FC Beberbeki getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Roberts Berde hit a great ball. The supporters of Insane Raccoons FC booed when FC Beberbeki was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberts Berde didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fēliks Zurāvovičs made an important save on a dangerous shot by Severīns Pirtslāva in the 87th minute. 88 minutes into the match, FC Beberbeki's goalkeeper Fēliks Zurāvovičs had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Severīns Pirtslāva. With a little luck, FC Beberbeki's Fēliks Zurāvovičs got control of the ball when Severīns Pirtslāva tried to sneak it across the goal line. Insane Raccoons FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
