Leonardo Vibjörnsson hit a great ball. After some careless play in the SK Daugava defense, Michal Noworolnik kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cacá 龙青. The SK Daugava fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cacá 龙青 should have stopped the shot. Michal Noworolnik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Cacá 龙青 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute Hayrettin Kapsam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toms Felss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Toms Felss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hayrettin Kapsam, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Toms Skirmanis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Cacá 龙青 skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Toms Felss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hayrettin Kapsam in the 27th minute of play. The supporters of SK Daugava booed when GAUJA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michal Noworolnik didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 33 played minutes GAUJA got a freekick which was hit by Cazimir Slătineanu. Michal Noworolnik struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Cacá 龙青 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GAUJA. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Antonio Lluis during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 41st minute, Antonio Lluis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Toms Felss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hayrettin Kapsam in the 44th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Michal Noworolnik stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, German Silvanito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SK Daugava's Namejs Vasivcevs shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 54th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Toms Felss but with some difficulty. Leonardo Vibjörnsson hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After 58 minutes of play, GAUJA's Antonio Lluis made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cacá 龙青 was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 61st minute, Antonio Lluis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cacá 龙青 was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 66th match minute, GAUJA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michal Noworolnik to maneuver through the defense. Hayrettin Kapsam could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Toms Felss made a huge save. Toms Felss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vello Valdma, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. León Solis hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Namejs Vasivcevs hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 85 minutes into the match, GAUJA's goalkeeper Toms Felss had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hayrettin Kapsam. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michal Noworolnik in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cacá 龙青 saved SK Daugava from getting behind. German Silvanito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cacá 龙青 having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Harald Lundström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute of the match Zigismunds Piekalns sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cacá 龙青 skillfully saved the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, GAUJA could leave the field as winners, despite SK Daugava having more of the ball for most of the match.
