Kiluciai's defense didn't have a chance, in the 4th minute, when Juozapas Burokas scored to the left of an out of position Algimantas Balciunas, making the score, 1-0. After some careless play in the FBK Jonionys defense, Romas Marciulionis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Egidijus Cimermonas . The FBK Jonionys fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Egidijus Cimermonas should have stopped the shot. In the 13th minute Zygimantas Antanaitis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egidijus Cimermonas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Algimantas Balciunas made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Romas Jasinskas sent off a good shot on target. Dovydas Vagnorius charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dovydas Vagnorius the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The long shot by Julius Kruopas in the 18th minute really tested Algimantas Balciunas's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a rather tough play, Kiluciai's Pavelas Jablonskis got a free kick in the 19th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Feliksas Gunsilius during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FBK Jonionys booed when Kiluciai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliksas Gunsilius didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd match minute, FBK Jonionys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romas Jasinskas to maneuver through the defense. Kiluciai's Algimantas Balciunas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juozapas Burokas in the 25th minute of play. Zygimantas Antanaitis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Romas Marciulionis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egidijus Cimermonas having to interfere. Alfonsas Kubilius charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfonsas Kubilius the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience was convinced that Romas Marciulionis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Egidijus Cimermonas was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. After some careless play in the FBK Jonionys defense, Romas Marciulionis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Egidijus Cimermonas . The FBK Jonionys fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Egidijus Cimermonas should have stopped the shot. Zygimantas Antanaitis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egidijus Cimermonas having to interfere. Vaidotas Vintilaitis's late challenge caught a Kiluciai's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vaidotas Vintilaitis helped the player get up and apologised. 41 minutes into the match, FBK Jonionys's goal looked a bit too open when Romas Marciulionis came free, but Egidijus Cimermonas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Egidijus Cimermonas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zygimantas Antanaitis's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Egidijus Cimermonas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romas Marciulionis, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Zygimantas Antanaitis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Egidijus Cimermonas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind FBK Jonionys's goalkeeper Egidijus Cimermonas , but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Juozapas Burokas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Algimantas Balciunas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. After 53 minutes, Pavelas Jablonskis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kiluciai and the FBK Jonionys players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Kiluciai getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Pavelas Jablonskis hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Juozapas Burokas managed to get in a good position for a shot. FBK Jonionys's supporters rose to their feet, but Juozapas Burokas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Algimantas Balciunas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Juozapas Burokas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 62 minutes into the match, Kiluciai's goal looked a bit too open when Juozapas Burokas came free, but Algimantas Balciunas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romas Jasinskas struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Algimantas Balciunas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FBK Jonionys. In the 66th minute, Kiluciai's Romas Marciulionis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Juozapas Burokas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zygimantas Antanaitis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Egidijus Cimermonas made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romas Marciulionis in the 84th minute of play forced FBK Jonionys's goalkeeper Egidijus Cimermonas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Egidijus Cimermonas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romas Marciulionis in the 85th minute of the match. Zygimantas Antanaitis struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Egidijus Cimermonas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kiluciai. Juozapas Burokas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Egidijus Cimermonas made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Zygimantas Antanaitis sent off a good shot on target.
