Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) VIESULAS's Zenonas Dapšas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Zenonas Dapšas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 13 played minutes VIESULAS got a freekick which was hit by Erikas Barasa. In the 16th minute, Zenonas Dapšas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Einaras Boguckis was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Jouke Lute might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vidmantas Švambaris. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jouke Lute ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aurelijus Jakštys got free with Einaras Boguckis in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vidmantas Švambaris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vytautas Gasparaitis in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Zigmantas Baniulis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Justas Songaila struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Vidmantas Švambaris didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Palanga. After a rather tough play, VIESULAS's Erikas Barasa got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 44th minute, Ugnius Baliutis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes into the match, Justas Songaila notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of VIESULAS's Vidmantas Švambaris. Vidmantas Švambaris was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Einaras Boguckis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zenonas Dapšas, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vytautas Gasparaitis made a kick off. When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Vytautas Gasparaitis sped through VIESULAS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vidmantas Švambaris. FC Palanga's Einaras Boguckis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelijus Jakštys in the 56th minute of play. Vidmantas Švambaris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jouke Lute in the 60th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Palanga's Jogaila Palčiauskas got a free kick in the 62nd minute. FC Palanga's supporters rose to their feet, but Vytautas Gasparaitis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vidmantas Švambaris breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aurelijus Jakštys sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
