Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Andrejus Balkevicius took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 6th minute, Lauras Venclova got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Darius Masaitis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrejus Balkevicius in the 10th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Medyniki's zone, Lauras Venclova stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sergejus Petreikis came out of the goal and Lauras Venclova tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Purmaliai's Liudvikas Stonkus got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Liudvikas Stonkus took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Sergejus Petreikis to make any attempt to save it. Gvidas Burokas hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Lauras Venclova struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Sergejus Petreikis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Purmaliai. When Andrejus Balkevicius came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Medyniki fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrejus Balkevicius couldn't finish the play. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Purmaliai's goalkeeper Darius Masaitis , but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 39th minute, Virgilijus Juknevicius got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lauras Venclova got free with Sergejus Petreikis in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Liudvikas Stonkus made a kick off. Purmaliai's Vadimas Puniskis couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 57th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Medyniki. Sergejus Petreikis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marius Januska in the 61st minute of play. Liudvikas Stonkus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergejus Petreikis having to interfere. Virgilijus Juknevicius's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Darius Masaitis firmly grabbed it by the left post. Liudvikas Stonkus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute of the match Vitalijus Jasas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Darius Masaitis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Andrejus Balkevicius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darius Masaitis having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Virgilijus Juknevicius notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Purmaliai's Darius Masaitis . Darius Masaitis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sergejus Petreikis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Liudvikas Stonkus's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Darius Masaitis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrejus Balkevicius, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Purmaliai fans cheered their team off the field, for while Medyniki had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
