Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Deividas Ablingis in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Linas Laužikas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Deividas Ablingis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Linas Laužikas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gytis Šimkūnas in the 17th minute of play forced FC Skrydis's goalkeeper Virginijus Orbakas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FK Zemaitija booed when FC Skrydis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jokūbas Čepulionis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 21 minutes of play, FK Zemaitija's Kristupas Bišlys made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Virginijus Orbakas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Antanas Naujokaitis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Linas Laužikas having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Kristupas Bišlys's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Virginijus Orbakas was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Justas Žukauskas's late challenge caught a FK Zemaitija's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Justas Žukauskas helped the player get up and apologised. In the 62nd minute Deividas Ablingis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Linas Laužikas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Deividas Ablingis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
