After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Jogaila Jovaiša managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Sodelyay's supporters rose to their feet, but Jogaila Jovaiša was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vytenis Samalionis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Agatas Misiulis was out of position in the 9 minute of play, and Marijonas Martinkėnas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marijonas Martinkėnas really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 13th match minute, FC Sodelyay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lauras Rukas to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the match, FK ALYTIS's Ignas Tindžiulis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Agatas Misiulis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vytenis Samalionis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jogaila Jovaiša in the 23rd minute of the match. When Alvydas Purvinis fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FK ALYTIS's protests and gave Alvydas Purvinis a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th minute, one of FK ALYTIS:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FK ALYTIS. The referee gave FC Sodelyay a penalty, 25 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Danas Žvigaitis, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FK ALYTIS's Vytenis Samalionis. 1-1. 31 minutes into the game, Germanas Vadalauskas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FK ALYTIS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Sodelyay the free kick. After a rather tough play, FK ALYTIS's Germanas Vadalauskas got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Danas Žvigaitis, 32 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Titas Matusevičius fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FK ALYTIS's protests and gave Titas Matusevičius a yellow card for diving instead. Titas Matusevičius kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Lauras Rukas struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Vytenis Samalionis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Sodelyay. In the 45th minute Ignas Tindžiulis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agatas Misiulis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Lauras Rukas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jogaila Jovaiša was the one to do the kick off. Lauras Rukas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Vytenis Samalionis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jogaila Jovaiša in the 65th minute of play forced FK ALYTIS's goalkeeper Vytenis Samalionis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FC Sodelyay booed when FK ALYTIS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvydas Purvinis didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Sodelyay's Danas Žvigaitis couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 70th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FK ALYTIS. If Jogaila Jovaiša had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ignas Tindžiulis in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Agatas Misiulis saved FC Sodelyay from getting behind. If Lauras Rukas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vytenis Samalionis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jogaila Jovaiša, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Agatas Misiulis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignas Tindžiulis in the 86th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, FK ALYTIS's Marijonas Martinkėnas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Agatas Misiulis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marijonas Martinkėnas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
