But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laurynas Markevicius couldn't finish the play. Merūnas Adomkevičius who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Eduardas Bartkus when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Arminas Povilionis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Eduardas Bartkus made a huge save. Vydas Dumša might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eduardas Bartkus. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vydas Dumša ran back to his position shaking his head. 35 minutes into the match, FBK Selos's Zigmantas Levickis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Irtautas Inda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vydas Dumša received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Eduardas Bartkus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laurynas Markevicius in the 44th minute of play forced FK ERELIAI's goalkeeper Irtautas Inda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arminas Povilionis charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arminas Povilionis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 44th match minute, FK ERELIAI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arminas Povilionis to maneuver through the defense. Eduardas Bartkus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vydas Dumša, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 61 played minutes FBK Selos got a freekick which was hit by Vaidotas Silinskis. Merūnas Adomkevičius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eduardas Bartkus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Merūnas Adomkevičius in the 70th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zigmantas Levickis got free with Irtautas Inda in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zigmantas Levickis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Irtautas Inda having to interfere. FK ERELIAI's Irtautas Inda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurynas Markevicius in the 77th minute of play. When Aurimas Brazauskas came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the FBK Selos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aurimas Brazauskas couldn't finish the play. 94 minutes into the match, FK ERELIAI's goal looked a bit too open when Laurynas Markevicius came free, but Irtautas Inda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Laurynas Markevicius notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of FK ERELIAI's Irtautas Inda.
