Vitoldas Dargužas was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Laimonas Griskevicius. Eduardas Deveika sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice moves Bernadas Snieckus could shoot a difficult shot in the 9th minute, which Vitoldas Dargužas however easily saved by the left post. A hard shot 11 in the game by Bernadas Snieckus from a close distance when the talented Vitoldas Dargužas managed to make a qualified save. FC ARKOS's players were relieved. Vitoldas Dargužas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardas Deveika, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dainius Mickeliūnas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bronislovas Bartkus having to interfere. After having played for 17 minutes, Dainius Mickeliūnas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC ARKOS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dainius Mickeliūnas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Dainius Mickeliūnas managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC ARKOS's supporters rose to their feet, but Dainius Mickeliūnas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bronislovas Bartkus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Padainupys's Bronislovas Bartkus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgilijus Sereika in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Virgilijus Sereika got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 24th minute, Augustas Gabrielaitis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 34 minutes, Vitoldas Dargužas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Bernadas Snieckus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Titas Narbutas kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 45th minute Dainius Mickeliūnas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bronislovas Bartkus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eduardas Deveika to make the kick off. Padainupys's Bronislovas Bartkus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Padainupys from getting a goal against them. In the 59th play minute Dainius Mickeliūnas came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Bronislovas Bartkus. 0-1. In the 64th match minute, Padainupys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mecislovas Martinaitis to maneuver through the defense. Dainius Mickeliūnas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bronislovas Bartkus having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Bernadas Snieckus left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Padainupys fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The audience was convinced that Eduardas Deveika's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vitoldas Dargužas was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Padainupys's Eduardas Deveika got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 88th minute, one of FC ARKOS:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC ARKOS. FC ARKOS:s Vitoldas Dargužas showed great skill when he stopped Zydrunas Ubartas:s penalty. When Virgilijus Sereika came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the FC ARKOS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Virgilijus Sereika couldn't finish the play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC ARKOS walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
