After a rather tough play, Medziociai's Virgilijus Akunis got a free kick in the 5th minute. When Ugnius Kudulis came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Medziociai fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ugnius Kudulis couldn't finish the play. 12 minutes into the match, Medziociai's goal looked a bit too open when Virgilijus Sereika came free, but Augustinas Sasnauskas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vitoldas Dargužas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ugnius Kudulis, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Ugnius Kudulis took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vitoldas Dargužas. Vitoldas Dargužas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. FC ARKOS's Paulius Latvėnas couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 20th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Medziociai. Ugnius Kudulis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vitoldas Dargužas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ugnius Kudulis in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgilijus Sereika in the 27th minute of play forced Medziociai's goalkeeper Augustinas Sasnauskas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vitoldas Dargužas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Skirmantas Aidukas in the 29th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Medziociai's goal looked a bit too open when Virgilijus Sereika came free, but Augustinas Sasnauskas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the game, FC ARKOS's Dainius Mickeliūnas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Augustinas Sasnauskas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 37th minute Ugnius Kudulis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitoldas Dargužas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to FC ARKOS getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Vismantas Avelis hit a great ball. If Virgilijus Sereika had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ugnius Kudulis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitoldas Dargužas having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Virgilijus Sereika to strike the kick off in the second half. Ugnius Kudulis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vitoldas Dargužas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Ugnius Kudulis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitoldas Dargužas having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Skirmantas Aidukas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 65th minute Ugnius Kudulis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitoldas Dargužas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th match minute, FC ARKOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgilijus Sereika to maneuver through the defense. Augustinas Sasnauskas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Titas Narbutas, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 79th minute, Dainius Mickeliūnas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of FC ARKOS booed when Medziociai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Žygimantas Ždanys didn't get a good kick on the ball.
