With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tadas Mikelionis in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Šarūnas Buivys saved FK Sakuneliai from getting behind. Šarūnas Buivys showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadas Mikelionis, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tadas Mikelionis in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Šarūnas Buivys prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With his leg Miglius Andrišiūnas managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when FK Sakuneliai's Eigirdas Briedis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 34th minute, Edmundas Dunauskas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee showed Tadas Mikelionis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kurai's Vilmantas Lukšas got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 96 minutes into the match, FK Sakuneliai's Eigirdas Briedis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Miglius Andrišiūnas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kurai's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
