Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) FK Gateliu's Alfonsas Balcikonis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liutauras Radzinevičius in the 3rd minute of play. After 6 played minutes FC Nibumbum got a freekick which was hit by Arūnas Balūzis. Aleksandras Katinas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 12th minute, Arūnas Balūzis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfonsas Balcikonis was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Jokūbas Drazdauskas struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Alfonsas Balcikonis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Nibumbum. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arūnas Balūzis got free with Alfonsas Balcikonis in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jokūbas Drazdauskas got in the 19th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Alfonsas Balcikonis handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. FK Gateliu's Alfonsas Balcikonis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jokūbas Drazdauskas in the 27th minute of play. Vygantas Daukaitis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vitoldas Vosylius went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Vitoldas Vosylius managed to get in a good position for a shot. FK Gateliu's supporters rose to their feet, but Vitoldas Vosylius was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vygantas Daukaitis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 38 minutes into the match, FK Gateliu's goal looked a bit too open when Jokūbas Drazdauskas came free, but Alfonsas Balcikonis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 44th play minutes Arūnas Balūzis shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Alfonsas Balcikonis and just under the crossbar into goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vitoldas Vosylius to make the kick off. Arūnas Balūzis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfonsas Balcikonis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Jokūbas Drazdauskas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jokūbas Drazdauskas in the 59th minute of play forced FK Gateliu's goalkeeper Alfonsas Balcikonis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Edmundas Domža fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Nibumbum's protests and gave Edmundas Domža a yellow card for diving instead. In the 65th minute Vitoldas Vosylius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vygantas Daukaitis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Arūnas Balūzis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 74 played minutes FC Nibumbum got a freekick which was hit by Liutauras Radzinevičius. Alfonsas Balcikonis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jokūbas Drazdauskas's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Liutauras Radzinevičius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arūnas Balūzis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jokūbas Drazdauskas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Nibumbum were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FK Gateliu for a fine match.
