In the 11thth minute of the game Edmundas Matusevičius who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FBK Damushk™'s Vidas Bagdžiūnas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benediktas Vaitkevičius made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Giedrius Jaunius sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raimondas Petrulis got free with Benediktas Vaitkevičius in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 32nd minute, Santos Luzaide ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benediktas Vaitkevičius was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. FBK Damushk™'s Vidas Bagdžiūnas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundas Matusevičius in the 35th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Algirdas Račinskas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Danas Kėbla during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Sikstas Paškevičius fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fk Tiko's protests and gave Sikstas Paškevičius a yellow card for diving instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geovani Valadares in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benediktas Vaitkevičius saved Fk Tiko from getting behind.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edmundas Matusevičius to strike the kick off in the second half. 60 minutes into the match, Fk Tiko's goal looked a bit too open when Santos Luzaide came free, but Benediktas Vaitkevičius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
