In the 2nd minute, Aistis Buzelis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 6th minute by Šarūnas Janonis got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Simonas Budvytis got free with Agnius Merkelis in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 22 minutes into the game, Vėjas Atkočiunas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FBK Lenkalyay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FK Patašiniai the free kick. In the 29th match minute, FBK Lenkalyay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vėjas Atkočiunas to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Rokas Andriuška managed to get in a good position for a shot. FK Patašiniai's supporters rose to their feet, but Rokas Andriuška was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Konstantinas Raugalas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Šarūnas Janonis managed to get in a good position for a shot. With his leg Agnius Merkelis managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when FBK Lenkalyay's Šarūnas Janonis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 40th minute, Šarūnas Janonis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Agnius Merkelis was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Romas Maksimavičius was the one to do the kick off. Agnius Merkelis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simonas Budvytis, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 58th minute, Rokas Andriuška ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Konstantinas Raugalas was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rokas Andriuška got free with Konstantinas Raugalas in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Simonas Budvytis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Agnius Merkelis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to FK Patašiniai getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Romas Maksimavičius hit a great ball. FBK Lenkalyay's Konstantinas Raugalas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save FBK Lenkalyay from getting a goal against them. Agnius Merkelis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Šarūnas Janonis's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. A collision led to FK Patašiniai getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Airūnas Dajoras hit a great ball. Lukas Gedrikas was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 90th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. A collision led to FBK Lenkalyay getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Osvaldas Tarabilda hit a great ball. Agnius Merkelis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Šarūnas Janonis in the 96th minute of the match. There was no doubt that FBK Lenkalyay were the better team. FBK Lenkalyay's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
