Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alfonsas Maneikis took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 2 played minutes FBK Dirmeikiai got a freekick which was hit by Eurelijus Vasauskas. Šarūnas Aidukas stood somewhat misplaced when Alfonsas Maneikis came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 5 minute. Alfonsas Maneikis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rupertas Urniežius's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Šarūnas Aidukas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. A collision led to FBK Dirmeikiai getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Bernardas Stuburas hit a great ball. Alfonsas Maneikis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Edmundas Enčius managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Salote's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmundas Enčius was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Šarūnas Aidukas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alfonsas Maneikis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FBK Dirmeikiai's Šarūnas Aidukas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save FBK Dirmeikiai from getting a goal against them. If Saulius Gustas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Šarūnas Aidukas made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Edmundas Enčius sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Laimonas Danavičius stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, FC Salote's Edmundas Enčius sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Šarūnas Aidukas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in FC Salote's zone, Eurelijus Vasauskas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Deimantas Jagutis came out of the goal and Eurelijus Vasauskas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Almantas Vosylius fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Salote's protests and gave Almantas Vosylius a yellow card for diving instead. After 55 played minutes FC Salote got a freekick which was hit by Almantas Vosylius. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Saulius Gustas managed to get in a good position for a shot. FBK Dirmeikiai's supporters rose to their feet, but Saulius Gustas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Deimantas Jagutis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonsas Maneikis in the 63rd minute of play forced FBK Dirmeikiai's goalkeeper Šarūnas Aidukas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th match minute, FC Salote was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonsas Maneikis to maneuver through the defense. Alfonsas Maneikis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Šarūnas Aidukas having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 73rd minute of the game. One of FC Salote:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FBK Dirmeikiai:s goal. After a rather tough play, FBK Dirmeikiai's Narūnas Domarkas got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 88th minute Edmundas Enčius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Šarūnas Aidukas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfonsas Maneikis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Šarūnas Aidukas having to interfere. Deimantas Jagutis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Saulius Gustas in the 94th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundas Enčius in the 97th minute of play forced FBK Dirmeikiai's goalkeeper Šarūnas Aidukas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
