Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Herman Eriksson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 5th minute, Gintautas Basys hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 8 played minutes Kuzman Dakovski rounded Airenai's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Kuzman Dakovski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 20 minutes into the match, Emílio Antunes notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Airenai's Vytaras Smilgys. Vytaras Smilgys was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Kuzman Dakovski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vytaras Smilgys. That made the score 3-0 in the 24 minute of play. In the 31st minute of the match, Kuzman Dakovski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vytaras Smilgys saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 32nd minute Gvidonas Babravičius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenijus Ratkevičius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 33 minutes, Gvidonas Babravičius managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Airenai's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gvidonas Babravičius was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kuzman Dakovski struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Vytaras Smilgys didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Smūgis. 44 minutes into the match, FC Smūgis's goal looked a bit too open when Gvidonas Babravičius came free, but Eugenijus Ratkevičius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vytaras Smilgys took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herman Eriksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Airenai's Vytaras Smilgys proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Airenai from getting a goal against them.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eduardas Motiejūnas to strike the kick off in the second half. Valdas Amontas scored 4-0 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vytaras Smilgys, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of FC Smūgis booed when Airenai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gintautas Basys didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eduardas Motiejūnas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenijus Ratkevičius having to interfere. Eduardas Motiejūnas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Eugenijus Ratkevičius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eduardas Motiejūnas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eugenijus Ratkevičius came out and tried to block the shot, but Eduardas Motiejūnas slotted it home off the left post making it 4-1 in the 80th minute. In the 86thth minute of the game Eduardas Motiejūnas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Smūgis's Eugenijus Ratkevičius was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to FC Smūgis getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Herman Eriksson hit a great ball. Margiris Grigonis hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Benediktas Buzelis might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vytaras Smilgys. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benediktas Buzelis ran back to his position shaking his head. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Smūgis fully deserved thier win.
