Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) FC Minolta's Redas Baronas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Redas Baronas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justas Diliūnas having to interfere. With a little luck, SM Jaunimelis's Justas Diliūnas got control of the ball when Emilis Laucius tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 6th minute Antanas Makelevičius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Airidas Sivickas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Staškus in the 7th minute of play forced FC Minolta's goalkeeper Airidas Sivickas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute, Tomas Staškus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antanas Makelevičius in the 13th minute of play forced FC Minolta's goalkeeper Airidas Sivickas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Redas Baronas in the 18th minute of play forced SM Jaunimelis's goalkeeper Justas Diliūnas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in SM Jaunimelis's zone, Emilis Laucius stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Justas Diliūnas came out of the goal and Emilis Laucius tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of FC Minolta booed when SM Jaunimelis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Naglis Palčiauskas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mantas Gargasas charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mantas Gargasas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mantas Gargasas kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the FC Minolta defense, Ligitas Zelmikas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Airidas Sivickas. The FC Minolta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Airidas Sivickas should have stopped the shot. FC Minolta's Redas Baronas got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Tomas Staškus came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the SM Jaunimelis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Staškus couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Staškus was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Minolta's goalkeeper Airidas Sivickas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Tomas Staškus managed to get in a good position for a shot. SM Jaunimelis's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Staškus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Airidas Sivickas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 60thth minute of the game Tomas Staškus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Minolta's Airidas Sivickas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Airidas Sivickas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Staškus in the 62nd minute of play. Vytaras Dagys received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Airidas Sivickas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Justas Diliūnas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilis Laucius, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. If Tomas Staškus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vytaras Dagys in the 73rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Airidas Sivickas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Vytaras Dagys put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Airidas Sivickas. Airidas Sivickas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Naglis Palčiauskas in the 85th minute of the match. Airidas Sivickas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Staškus's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Ligitas Zelmikas was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 89th minute. SM Jaunimelis's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When Tomas Staškus came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the SM Jaunimelis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Staškus couldn't finish the play. 0-3 became the score in the 94th minute when Tomas Staškus elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. SM Jaunimelis's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
