If Haroldas Baliunas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alvito's goalkeeper Gytis Kuncaitis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gytis Kuncaitis was a little too slow when Aloyzas Mačionis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 21st match minute, Beisbolo institutas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tauras Ašmontas to maneuver through the defense. Haroldas Baliunas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Oskaras Danusevičius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Marijonas Macijauskas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oskaras Danusevičius was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. If Haroldas Baliunas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 28 played minutes Alvito got a freekick which was hit by Modestas Kaulakis. Oskaras Danusevičius stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Haroldas Baliunas 's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. 36 minutes into the match, Beisbolo institutas's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldas Baliunas came free, but Oskaras Danusevičius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marijonas Macijauskas struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Oskaras Danusevičius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alvito. If Aloyzas Mačionis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Marijonas Macijauskas came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Alvito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marijonas Macijauskas couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aloyzas Mačionis was the one to do the kick off. If Marijonas Macijauskas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gytis Kuncaitis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aloyzas Mačionis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Algirdas Kursius charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Algirdas Kursius the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Alvito getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Algirdas Kursius hit a great ball. Gytis Kuncaitis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aloyzas Mačionis in the 75th minute of play. Gintautas Puotkalis hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. 82 minutes into the match, Alvito's goal looked a bit too open when Aloyzas Mačionis came free, but Gytis Kuncaitis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ricardas Bulavas hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute, Haroldas Baliunas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Haroldas Baliunas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Oskaras Danusevičius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oskaras Danusevičius made an important save on a dangerous shot by Haroldas Baliunas in the 93rd minute. Alvito's Marijonas Macijauskas got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Beisbolo institutas's Oskaras Danusevičius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marijonas Macijauskas in the 96th minute of play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Beisbolo institutas were victorious despite being under pressure from Alvito for much of the match.
