Pavitine's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Albinas Cicėnas 16 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Paulius Kalvis charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulius Kalvis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Zigmantas Balabonas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giedrius Dzemyda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adolfas Tubelis during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Pavitine getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Adolfas Tubelis hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute, Albinas Cicėnas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vidmantas Černiauskas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Bernadas Daukantas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 43 in the game by Vidmantas Černiauskas from a close distance when the talented Bernadas Daukantas managed to make a qualified save. Pavitine's players were relieved. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Albinas Cicėnas to make the kick off. Zigmantas Balabonas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giedrius Dzemyda in the 71st minute of play. Ricardas Silkinis did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-2 to the left of a surprised Zigmantas Balabonas 74 minutes into the match. Nedas Sviderskis hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Vidmantas Černiauskas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Bernadas Daukantas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Kazys Mikalauskas fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pavitine's protests and gave Kazys Mikalauskas a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 91 minutes, Giedrius Dzemyda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pavitine's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giedrius Dzemyda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Mantas Guleckis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zigmantas Balabonas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giedrius Dzemyda, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. If Albinas Cicėnas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Village Records were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
