Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rolandas Dabkevičius kicked off to start the match. Bronius Budraitis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eligijus Narutavičius read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FK Druskininkai's zone, Augustas Pilipavičius stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eligijus Narutavičius came out of the goal and Augustas Pilipavičius tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Augustas Pilipavičius's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 12thth minute, Eligijus Narutavičius skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Eligijus Narutavičius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augustas Pilipavičius in the 17th minute of the match. Liudvikas Antanaitis's late challenge caught a Vilkapieviu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Liudvikas Antanaitis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th match minute, FK Druskininkai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Liudvikas Antanaitis to maneuver through the defense. Benediktas Buivydas charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benediktas Buivydas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Benediktas Buivydas kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the game, Tadas Miškūnas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vilkapieviu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FK Druskininkai the free kick. 34 minutes into the game, one of Vilkapieviu:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. If Bronius Budraitis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The wind increased when Augustas Pilipavičius made the kick off in the second half. Eligijus Narutavičius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augustas Pilipavičius in the 52nd minute of the match. Bronius Budraitis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. During the 76th minute of the match Hubertas Sauliūnas completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Hubertas Sauliūnas a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In a very dangerous position, a player in FK Druskininkai fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 76th minute. Penalty! In the 78th minute there was a penalty for Vilkapieviu. Irmantas Girnius stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Eligijus Narutavičius. 3-2. When Vilkapieviu's Augustas Pilipavičius in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FK Druskininkai's goalie prevented a goal. FK Druskininkai's Eligijus Narutavičius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augustas Pilipavičius in the 96th minute of play. FK Druskininkai's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
