Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Alius Bernotas made the kick off which started today's match. Raimondas Sernius stood somewhat misplaced when Alius Bernotas came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 10 minute. After having played for 16 minutes, Vladas Gajarskis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Kukliai's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vladas Gajarskis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leonas Brazas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 23 played minutes FC Kukliai got a freekick which was hit by Dalius Lekevicius. Darijus Baltūsis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladas Gajarskis, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 28th minute Leonas Brazas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darijus Baltūsis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 32 minutes, Dalius Lekevicius managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Kukliai's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dalius Lekevicius was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leonas Brazas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Darijus Baltūsis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FC VILNIUS UNITED's Haroldas Raštikis got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 47th minute, Leonas Brazas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Kukliai fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leonas Brazas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Haroldas Raštikis kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After 60 minutes of play, FC VILNIUS UNITED's Alius Bernotas made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Raimondas Sernius was left in no man's land by his defense there! Darijus Baltūsis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonas Brazas's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Raimondas Sernius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alius Bernotas in the 76th minute of play. Dainius Ramonas's late challenge caught a FC VILNIUS UNITED's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dainius Ramonas helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th minute, Dainius Ramonas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 80 played minutes FC Kukliai got a freekick which was hit by Vladas Gajarskis. Stanislovas Kursius's late challenge caught a FC VILNIUS UNITED's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stanislovas Kursius helped the player get up and apologised. After 85 played minutes FC Kukliai got a freekick which was hit by Stanislovas Kursius. Darijus Baltūsis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonas Brazas in the 89th minute of the match. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind FC VILNIUS UNITED's goalkeeper Darijus Baltūsis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 96th minute Kristijonas Urnikis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimondas Sernius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Kukliai's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
