Pabirzhe's supporters rose to their feet, but Aivaras Gudeikis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeronimas Jonauskas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aivaras Gudeikis in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jeronimas Jonauskas saved FBK KIVAI from getting behind. In the 20th minute, Dobilas Arelis made a precise shot to the right of Jeronimas Jonauskas. FBK KIVAI's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kristupas Valeckas during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Agatas Ekertas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Tautrimas Bitėnas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of FBK KIVAI booed when Pabirzhe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aivaras Gudeikis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tautrimas Bitėnas made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Agatas Ekertas sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dobilas Arelis in the 28th minute of play forced FBK KIVAI's goalkeeper Jeronimas Jonauskas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Tautrimas Bitėnas managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when FBK KIVAI's Agatas Ekertas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Aras Stonys in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tautrimas Bitėnas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. FBK KIVAI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aras Stonys was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Agatas Ekertas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dobilas Arelis made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Agatas Ekertas in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tautrimas Bitėnas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 52 minutes into the game, Vydas Andrijauskas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pabirzhe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FBK KIVAI the free kick. In the 52nd match minute, Pabirzhe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vydas Andrijauskas to maneuver through the defense. Agatas Ekertas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tautrimas Bitėnas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aras Stonys in the 54th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Agatas Ekertas put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Tautrimas Bitėnas. Aras Stonys scored 4-1 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tautrimas Bitėnas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Agatas Ekertas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tautrimas Bitėnas was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Klemensas Anusauskas got free with Jeronimas Jonauskas in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tautrimas Bitėnas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aras Stonys, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 67th minute, Agatas Ekertas made a precise shot to the right of Tautrimas Bitėnas. Pabirzhe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Jeronimas Jonauskas was a little too slow when Dobilas Arelis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 5-2. 79 minutes into the match, Birger Löfgren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tautrimas Bitėnas. Pabirzhe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Birger Löfgren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Birger Löfgren in the 88th minute of play forced Pabirzhe's goalkeeper Tautrimas Bitėnas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the game, FBK KIVAI's Aras Stonys nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tautrimas Bitėnas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-2. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FBK KIVAI had played much better football throughout.
