Arminas Kundrotas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanislovas Raugalas in the 9th minute of the match. Rimas Ringys made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domas Macevicius in the 11th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 12th minute by Stanislovas Raugalas got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Stanislovas Raugalas managed to get in a good position for a shot. FK ErŠkėtis's supporters rose to their feet, but Stanislovas Raugalas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arminas Kundrotas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 16 minutes, Stanislovas Raugalas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FK ErŠkėtis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stanislovas Raugalas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Grimziai's Eigirdas Jackus got a free kick in the 17th minute. FK ErŠkėtis's Modestas Mackėla got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FK ErŠkėtis's Rimas Ringys played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domas Macevicius in the 20th minute of play. In the 24th minute, Stanislovas Raugalas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arminas Kundrotas. The goal made the score 1-0. Virgilijus Sirvydis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arminas Kundrotas having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Stanislovas Raugalas made a precise shot to the right of Arminas Kundrotas. Grimziai's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Grimziai's goalkeeper Arminas Kundrotas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Virgilijus Sirvydis in the 42ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arminas Kundrotas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Domas Macevicius stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Modestas Mackėla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Arminas Kundrotas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Stanislovas Raugalas came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the FK ErŠkėtis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stanislovas Raugalas couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Virgilijus Sirvydis in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arminas Kundrotas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Virgilijus Sirvydis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rimas Ringys showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonsas Leleiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After having played for 77 minutes, Stanislovas Raugalas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. If Virgilijus Sirvydis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute, Stanislovas Raugalas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arminas Kundrotas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stanislovas Raugalas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute, Emilis Ambrazas made a precise shot to the right of Arminas Kundrotas. Grimziai's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Gintautas Macius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Arminas Kundrotas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, Grimziai's goal looked a bit too open when Modestas Mackėla came free, but Arminas Kundrotas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that FK ErŠkėtis were the better team. FK ErŠkėtis's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
