The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Grazhishki's Stanislovas Kuris got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alius Bunga might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Daumantas Jakucionis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alius Bunga ran back to his position shaking his head. 15 minutes into the match, FK UNITED's Alius Bunga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daumantas Jakucionis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Liudvikas Zilinskas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Laurynas Damašius having to make a save. Stanislovas Kuris succeeded in the game's 19th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. Laimutis Galkus hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. When FK UNITED's Stasys Naujokas in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Grazhishki's goalie prevented a goal. Liudvikas Zilinskas might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Laurynas Damašius. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After a rather tough play, Grazhishki's Irmantas Andriejauskas got a free kick in the 29th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Eidvilas Momkus sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Daumantas Jakucionis threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Eidvilas Momkus this time. 34 minutes into the match, Grazhishki's goalkeeper Daumantas Jakucionis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alius Bunga. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stanislovas Kuris in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Laurynas Damašius prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Stanislovas Kuris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Laurynas Damašius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Stasys Naujokas made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Grazhishki's Kestutis Vagnorius got a free kick in the 51st minute. A collision led to Grazhishki getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Stanislovas Kuris hit a great ball. Laurynas Damašius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stanislovas Kuris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 58 minutes, Laurynas Damašius successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Laurynas Damašius made an important save on a dangerous shot by Liudvikas Zilinskas in the 59th minute. After having played for 62 minutes, Liudvikas Zilinskas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grazhishki's supporters crossed their fingers, but Liudvikas Zilinskas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 63 played minutes FK UNITED got a freekick which was hit by Valdemaras Taujanskas. Stanislovas Kuris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Laurynas Damašius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute of the match, Stanislovas Kuris tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Laurynas Damašius saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Daumantas Jakucionis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stasys Naujokas's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. If Alius Bunga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stasys Naujokas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Daumantas Jakucionis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stanislovas Kuris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
