Pakieve's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Marijus Ziskis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Pakieve booed when FC BeaM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lukas Aukštakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnoldas Jasevicius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ugnius Abukauskas in the 30th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Pakieve's Marijus Ziskis got a free kick in the 31st minute. Vytautas Baranauskas might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gvidonas Barzda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vytautas Baranauskas ran back to his position shaking his head. Edmundas Ivanauskas's late challenge caught a FC BeaM's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edmundas Ivanauskas helped the player get up and apologised. Edmundas Ivanauskas hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute Jokūbas Ruzgys shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnoldas Jasevicius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
