In the 24th minute, Laimutis Paukštis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes into the match, Olimpo's goal looked a bit too open when Vaidotas Borovskis came free, but Feliksas Mintauskas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramūnas Dundulis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Modestas Misiūnas in the 27th minute of play. Tautrimas Mankus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Vitalijus Marazas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Feliksas Mintauskas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vitalijus Marazas, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. With an all-out effort, FC Ukmerge's Feliksas Mintauskas threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vitalijus Marazas, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 40 minutes into the match, Aldas Dagys had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ramūnas Dundulis. FC Ukmerge's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aldas Dagys was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. When Vitalijus Marazas came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the FC Ukmerge fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vitalijus Marazas couldn't finish the play. In the 46th minute, Vitalijus Marazas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Feliksas Mintauskas. The goal made the score 1-2.

Olimpo's Feliksas Mintauskas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitalijus Marazas in the 72nd minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Olimpo's goal looked a bit too open when Vitalijus Marazas came free, but Feliksas Mintauskas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Vitalijus Marazas came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the FC Ukmerge fans jumped to their feet. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Vitalijus Marazas managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Ukmerge's supporters rose to their feet, but Vitalijus Marazas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Feliksas Mintauskas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vitalijus Marazas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
