When Vitalijus Marazas came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the FC Ukmerge fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vitalijus Marazas couldn't finish the play. A collision led to FK Birstonas getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. FC Ukmerge's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FK Birstonas the free kick. The supporters of FK Birstonas booed when FC Ukmerge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vydas Kožukauskas didn't get a good kick on the ball.
