Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Karolis Gerulskis started the match with the kick off. Rytis Balnis might have been able to make a better finish in the 2nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Augustinas Dabulskis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rytis Balnis ran back to his position shaking his head. Augustinas Dinda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 5 minutes, Rytis Balnis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kaulakai and the UNITED players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 5 played minutes Kaulakai got a freekick which was hit by Rytis Balnis. 8 minutes into the game, Karolis Gerulskis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Stasys Normantas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 12 played minutes Kaulakai got a freekick which was hit by Dangiras Gruodis. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Rytis Balnis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kaulakai's supporters rose to their feet, but Rytis Balnis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Augustinas Dabulskis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 22 played minutes Augustinas Dinda rounded UNITED's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. The attack was good, but when Karolis Gerulskis in the 26th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Augustinas Dinda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Augustinas Dabulskis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rytis Balnis in the 33rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karolis Gerulskis in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stasys Normantas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Benjaminas Romanovas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stasys Normantas having to interfere. After having played for 39 minutes, Karolis Gerulskis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UNITED's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karolis Gerulskis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 41st minute, Benjaminas Romanovas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UNITED fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Rytis Balnis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augustinas Dabulskis having to interfere. Sigitas Jasiūnas hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Augustinas Dinda stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nedas Valionis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of UNITED booed when Kaulakai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Regimantas Kudirka didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nedas Valionis struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Stasys Normantas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UNITED. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rytis Balnis in the 61st minute of play forced UNITED's goalkeeper Augustinas Dabulskis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karolis Gerulskis scored 1-3 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stasys Normantas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Nedas Valionis managed to get in a good position for a shot. UNITED's supporters rose to their feet, but Nedas Valionis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stasys Normantas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 72nd minute Karolis Gerulskis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stasys Normantas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Augustinas Dinda scored 2-3 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Augustinas Dabulskis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Stasys Normantas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjaminas Romanovas in the 79th minute of play. Augustinas Mockevičius charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Augustinas Mockevičius the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Kaulakai getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Regimantas Kudirka hit a great ball. 88 minutes into the match, Kaulakai's goal looked a bit too open when Karolis Gerulskis came free, but Stasys Normantas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stasys Normantas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benjaminas Romanovas in the 89th minute. In the 90th minute, Kaulakai's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Benjaminas Romanovas fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. UNITED's Karolis Gerulskis got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match was over UNITED could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Kaulakai throughout the match.
