Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) SIELA's Tomas Kudzys started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Juozas Dagilis in the 6thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gvidonas Gricius, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Klemensas Labuckas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 9thth minute tested the skills of Gvidonas Gricius when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of SIELA booed when FC Joniskis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raimondas Mikutavičius didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pranas Ancikas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Kudzys in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfonsas Kančelskis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Klemensas Labuckas struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Gvidonas Gricius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Joniskis. Juozas Dagilis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gvidonas Gricius came out and tried to block the shot, but Juozas Dagilis slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 22nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Kudzys in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfonsas Kančelskis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eurelijus Rimša received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Alfonsas Kančelskis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juozas Dagilis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Klemensas Labuckas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Gvidonas Gricius made a huge save. Gvidonas Gricius made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Klemensas Labuckas sent off a good shot on target. If Klemensas Labuckas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Kudzys sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Juozas Dagilis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Klemensas Labuckas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute, Klemensas Labuckas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vaidotas Božys hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Gvidonas Gricius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Klemensas Labuckas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juozas Dagilis in the 59th minute of play forced SIELA's goalkeeper Gvidonas Gricius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eurelijus Rimša sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Joniskis's Alfonsas Kančelskis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save FC Joniskis from getting a goal against them. In the 69th minute, Klemensas Labuckas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Joniskis fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 72nd match minute, FC Joniskis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vidas Remeika to maneuver through the defense. 74 minutes into the match, Eurelijus Rimša had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfonsas Kančelskis. FC Joniskis's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eurelijus Rimša was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Klemensas Labuckas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Gvidonas Gricius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Klemensas Labuckas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 86 minutes, Vaidotas Božys mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SIELA and the FC Joniskis players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gvidonas Gricius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juozas Dagilis in the 87th minute of the match. Klemensas Labuckas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Gvidonas Gricius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juozas Dagilis took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gvidonas Gricius. Gvidonas Gricius dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. FC Joniskis's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
