Virginijus Tiškevičius made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Vitalijus Macijauskas sent off a good shot on target. Vytautas Sapunas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Almantas Butvilas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Vitalijus Macijauskas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Keturkaymis's supporters rose to their feet, but Vitalijus Macijauskas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Virginijus Tiškevičius breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, FC Ursus's Virginijus Tiškevičius got control of the ball when Vitalijus Macijauskas tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Almantas Butvilas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vytautas Sapunas was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Keturkaymis defense, Almantas Butvilas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vytautas Sapunas. After 29 minutes, Raimundas Petreikis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Keturkaymis and the FC Ursus players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Keturkaymis's Raimundas Petreikis got a free kick in the 29th minute. Keturkaymis's Vytautas Sapunas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Almantas Butvilas in the 33rd minute of play. When Valentas Kubilius fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Ursus's protests and gave Valentas Kubilius a yellow card for diving instead. Valentas Kubilius hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Zygimantas Kumpys didn't quite understand what happened when in the 35 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. With a little luck, FC Ursus's Virginijus Tiškevičius got control of the ball when Vitalijus Macijauskas tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Marius Smetona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Arnoldas Bagvila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Keturkaymis's Vytautas Sapunas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristijonas Deniušis in the 47th minute of play. The Keturkaymis players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Ursus were winning 0-2.
In the 52nd minute, Karolis Normantas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 54th minute of the match Petras Martinkus shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Virginijus Tiškevičius showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Marius Smetona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulius Kiškunas kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Virginijus Tiškevičius didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vitalijus Macijauskas went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 65 minutes into the match, FC Ursus's goal looked a bit too open when Vitalijus Macijauskas came free, but Virginijus Tiškevičius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 69 minutes of play, Keturkaymis's Marius Smetona made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Virginijus Tiškevičius was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 81st minute, Almantas Butvilas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Ursus fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Vitalijus Macijauskas might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Virginijus Tiškevičius. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vitalijus Macijauskas ran back to his position shaking his head. Virginijus Tiškevičius came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Keturkaymis's Vitalijus Macijauskas. But to his dismay, Vitalijus Macijauskas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. Virginijus Tiškevičius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitalijus Macijauskas in the 91st minute of play. Vitalijus Macijauskas might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Virginijus Tiškevičius. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vitalijus Macijauskas ran back to his position shaking his head. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
