Vilmantas Dapšas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raimondas Orvidas's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Raimondas Orvidas managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Skemay's supporters rose to their feet, but Raimondas Orvidas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vilmantas Dapšas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Linas Poškevičius's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Romualdas Bakaitis was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Romualdas Bakaitis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Linas Poškevičius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vilmantas Dapšas was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Daumantas Račkauskas. In the 38th minute Linas Poškevičius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romualdas Bakaitis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Linas Poškevičius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Romualdas Bakaitis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rapolas Vaidžiulis to make the kick off. If Linas Poškevičius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 55 minutes into the match, Labunov's Rapolas Vaidžiulis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Romualdas Bakaitis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rapolas Vaidžiulis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Romualdas Bakaitis made a huge save. Romualdas Bakaitis made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Linas Poškevičius sent off a good shot on target. 77 minutes into the match, Rapolas Vaidžiulis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Romualdas Bakaitis, 1-1. Andrius Kievisas kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rapolas Vaidžiulis in the 86th minute of play forced FC Skemay's goalkeeper Romualdas Bakaitis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Rapolas Vaidžiulis came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Labunov fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rapolas Vaidžiulis couldn't finish the play. Rapolas Vaidžiulis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romualdas Bakaitis having to interfere. Andrius Kievisas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Labunov players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented FC Skemay from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
