Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Egidijus Gaška started the match with the kick off. When Drąsutis Fokas came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Nemiez fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Drąsutis Fokas couldn't finish the play. Borvoynyay's Erlandas Pastoraitis was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 6th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The supporters of Nemiez booed when Borvoynyay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dobilas Bričkus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ignas Leimontas kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Borvoynyay's Giedrius Grikšas got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Egidijus Gaška in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marius Vaitkevičius prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 22 minutes of play, Borvoynyay's Benjaminas Butvilas made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bronislovas Šaulys was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benjaminas Butvilas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Bronislovas Šaulys made a huge save. Giedrius Grikšas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Bronislovas Šaulys tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Nemiez booed when Borvoynyay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arminas Masteika didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marius Vaitkevičius stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Drąsutis Fokas's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. In the 33rd minute, Nemiez's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Benjaminas Butvilas fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Borvoynyay's goalkeeper Marius Vaitkevičius, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Nemiez booed when Borvoynyay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erlandas Pastoraitis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Giedrius Grikšas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benjaminas Butvilas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Bronislovas Šaulys tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edmundas Aukščionis charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edmundas Aukščionis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 53rd minute, Edmundas Aukščionis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Giedrius Grikšas in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bronislovas Šaulys saved Nemiez from getting behind. When Benjaminas Butvilas came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Borvoynyay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benjaminas Butvilas couldn't finish the play. If Giedrius Grikšas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Giedrius Grikšas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Nemiez's Vaidas Melekša got a free kick in the 66th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Nemiez's goal looked a bit too open when Benjaminas Butvilas came free, but Bronislovas Šaulys reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute, Bernardas Daukšas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Arminas Masteika managed to get in a good position for a shot. Borvoynyay's supporters rose to their feet, but Arminas Masteika was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bronislovas Šaulys breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 77 minutes, Erlandas Pastoraitis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Borvoynyay and the Nemiez players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nemiez's Drąsutis Fokas got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Borvoynyay booed when Nemiez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignas Leimontas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marius Vaitkevičius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Egidijus Gaška, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Nemiez's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
