Dinaras Misiulis came out of the goal and Konstantinas Trubutis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Adolfas Klusas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vedreikiai's supporters rose to their feet, but Adolfas Klusas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dinaras Misiulis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 38 minutes, Marijus Kiškunas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kreyshtay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marijus Kiškunas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ovidijus Baltakis in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adomas Andrijaitis saved Vedreikiai from getting behind. After the first half Kreyshtay were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
