The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alanas Stauce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldas Gasparavičius, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jaunius Macijauskas got free with Kristijonas Kontautas in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alanas Stauce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldas Gasparavičius, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Tomas Žigelis kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Uzliausiai's Kristupas Masaitis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 17th minute, Tautrimas Diršė left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vekoniu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristupas Masaitis in the 25th minute of play forced Vekoniu's goalkeeper Kristijonas Kontautas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kristijonas Kontautas had great luck who in the 28thth minute grab hold of the ball when Kristupas Masaitis from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After 31 played minutes Kristupas Masaitis rounded Vekoniu's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. In the 34th match minute, Uzliausiai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dovydas Mustaikis to maneuver through the defense. 35 minutes into the match, Uzliausiai's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldas Gasparavičius came free, but Alanas Stauce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 35 played minutes Uzliausiai got a freekick which was hit by Petras Borovskis. Kristupas Masaitis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 45 played minutes, Vekoniu's Bernardas Dulevičius shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alanas Stauce came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vekoniu reached it. Alanas Stauce didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Žigelis went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Osvaldas Gasparavičius was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Uzliausiai's zone, Tautrimas Diršė stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alanas Stauce came out of the goal and Tautrimas Diršė tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Darius Anuzis's late challenge caught a Vekoniu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Darius Anuzis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 64th match minute, Vekoniu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vakaris Dautartas to maneuver through the defense. Kristijonas Kontautas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaunius Macijauskas in the 67th minute of play. After having played for 68 minutes, Jaunius Macijauskas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uzliausiai's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaunius Macijauskas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Vekoniu's goal looked a bit too open when Jaunius Macijauskas came free, but Kristijonas Kontautas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Uzliausiai's zone, Tautrimas Diršė stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alanas Stauce came out of the goal and Tautrimas Diršė tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Osvaldas Gasparavičius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomas Terleckas during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vekoniu's Vakaris Dautartas shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 91st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Alanas Stauce but with some difficulty. Jaunius Macijauskas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristijonas Kontautas having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Tautrimas Diršė got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Ričardas Jakštys fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vekoniu's protests and gave Ričardas Jakštys a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Vekoniu's Ričardas Jakštys got a free kick in the 96th minute. In the 98th minute Jaunius Macijauskas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristijonas Kontautas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
