After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Eigirdas Ulinskis managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Onuskio's supporters rose to their feet, but Eigirdas Ulinskis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Algirdas Poderis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gediminas Kunigelis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Martynas Macius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gediminas Kunigelis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Onuskio's Martynas Macius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save FC Onuskio from getting a goal against them. Linas Karalius kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Klemensas Jakniūnas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Vanagiskiai's Eduardas Mikoliunas got a free kick in the 24th minute. 28 minutes into the game, Vanagiskiai's Gediminas Kunigelis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Martynas Macius made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After a rather tough play, FC Onuskio's Kęstutis Mečius got a free kick in the 31st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Vanagiskiai's zone, Eigirdas Ulinskis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Algirdas Poderis came out of the goal and Eigirdas Ulinskis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 42 minutes into the match, Vanagiskiai's goal looked a bit too open when Juras Karaliūnas came free, but Algirdas Poderis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Drąsutis Pipiras charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Drąsutis Pipiras the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 47th minute, Drąsutis Pipiras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Liudvikas Uselis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vanagiskiai's supporters rose to their feet, but Liudvikas Uselis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Algirdas Poderis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. FC Onuskio's Martynas Macius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gediminas Kunigelis in the 63rd minute of play. The corner led Vanagiskiai's Romualdas Juknevicius to fire away a dangerous shot which Martynas Macius despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Vanagiskiai's Gediminas Kunigelis got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Algirdas Poderis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juras Karaliūnas in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Drąsutis Pipiras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martynas Macius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liudvikas Uselis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, FC Onuskio's Rimas Bublys got a free kick in the 79th minute. If Gediminas Kunigelis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute, Liudvikas Uselis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Martynas Macius was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. When Vanagiskiai's Linas Kauspadas in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Onuskio's goalie prevented a goal. Eigirdas Ulinskis's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Algirdas Poderis firmly grabbed it by the left post. Liudvikas Uselis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Martynas Macius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Onuskio players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Vanagiskiai.
