Eugenijus Jocys took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zenonas Gailys, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 8th minute of the game, Andrius Čiapas landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 8 minutes into the game, Vismantas Bendorius was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Druckunai's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bridziai the free kick. After a rather tough play, Druckunai's Vismantas Bendorius got a free kick in the 9th minute. After having played for 14 minutes, Zenonas Gailys managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Druckunai's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zenonas Gailys was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eugenijus Jocys showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vytenis Balsevičius, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Stanislovas Mastavičius didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ąžuolas Dūda went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 23 minutes into the match, Bridziai's goal looked a bit too open when Zenonas Gailys came free, but Eugenijus Jocys reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Haroldas Abromaitis kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Eugenijus Jocys showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zenonas Gailys in the 26th minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Zenonas Gailys got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zenonas Gailys fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenijus Jocys having to interfere. Leonas Vasauskas hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vytenis Balsevičius to strike the kick off in the second half. Gediminas Račiūnas hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Vytenis Balsevičius managed to get in a good position for a shot. Druckunai's supporters rose to their feet, but Vytenis Balsevičius was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eugenijus Jocys breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stanislovas Mastavičius didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ąžuolas Dūda went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Haroldas Abromaitis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stanislovas Mastavičius having to interfere. Bridziai's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Sigitas Alksmantas scored to the left of an out of position Eugenijus Jocys, making the score, 2-1. Zenonas Gailys blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eugenijus Jocys having to make a save. 92 minutes into the match, Bridziai's goal looked a bit too open when Vytenis Balsevičius came free, but Eugenijus Jocys reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute Vytenis Balsevičius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenijus Jocys saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
