An unexpectedly hard shot by Algitas Bankauskas in the 3rd minute of play forced FBK Zacisa's goalkeeper Dzidorius Meskauskas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Haroldas Makelevičius recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 8 minutes into the match, FBK Zacisa's goal looked a bit too open when Algitas Bankauskas came free, but Dzidorius Meskauskas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dzidorius Meskauskas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Algitas Bankauskas, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. When FBK Zacisa's Gvidas Siciunas in 15 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Raimondas Pauža guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. FBK Zacisa's Evaldas Kotas got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vytautas Ancikas's late challenge caught a FBK Zacisa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vytautas Ancikas helped the player get up and apologised. Haroldas Makelevičius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Dzidorius Meskauskas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zenonas Pavilionis kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaldas Kotas in the 43rd minute of play forced FK Palokiscio's goalkeeper Raimondas Pauža to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FK Palokiscio booed when FBK Zacisa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Deividas Lape didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ramūnas Kalinauskas was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 47th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Haroldas Makelevičius made the kick off in the second half. Evaldas Kotas struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Raimondas Pauža didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FBK Zacisa. Algitas Bankauskas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dzidorius Meskauskas having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FBK Zacisa's Leonardas Skarbalius got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Haroldas Makelevičius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dzidorius Meskauskas having to interfere. Gvidas Siciunas spun around in front of the goal 65 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of FK Palokiscio's goal. Dzidorius Meskauskas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Haroldas Makelevičius's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind FK Palokiscio's goalkeeper Raimondas Pauža, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dzidorius Meskauskas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Algitas Bankauskas in the 78th minute. If Algitas Bankauskas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dzidorius Meskauskas made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Algitas Bankauskas sent off a good shot on target. Algitas Bankauskas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Dzidorius Meskauskas made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benjaminas Andraitis during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 92 played minutes FBK Zacisa got a freekick which was hit by Benjaminas Andraitis. Raimondas Pauža made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaldas Kotas in the 96th minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
