Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Stanislovas Strielkauskas started the match with the kick off. Pavelas Zurza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aistis Kuprys, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ignas Drazdauskas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FK Patrake's Pavelas Zurza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aistis Kuprys in the 8th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Ignas Drazdauskas managed to get in a good position for a shot. NEMUNAS KAUNAS's supporters rose to their feet, but Ignas Drazdauskas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pavelas Zurza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Stanislovas Strielkauskas came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the NEMUNAS KAUNAS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stanislovas Strielkauskas couldn't finish the play. FK Patrake's Pavelas Zurza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stasys Rudys in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aistis Kuprys in the 16th minute of play forced FK Patrake's goalkeeper Pavelas Zurza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ignas Drazdauskas during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FK Patrake booed when NEMUNAS KAUNAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignas Drazdauskas didn't get a good kick on the ball. FK Patrake's Pavelas Zurza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aistis Kuprys in the 28th minute of play. Aistis Kuprys made a great header on NEMUNAS KAUNAS's corner, it was just that FK Patrake's Pavelas Zurza managed to reach the ball for a save. 30 minutes into the game, Viktoras Urbonavicius was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FK Patrake's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NEMUNAS KAUNAS the free kick. After a rather tough play, FK Patrake's Viktoras Urbonavicius got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 34th minute, Aistis Kuprys made a precise shot to the right of Pavelas Zurza. FK Patrake's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Pavelas Zurza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stasys Rudys, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Stasys Rudys's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pavelas Zurza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. If Stasys Rudys had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 48th minute, Robertas Nagevičius left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The NEMUNAS KAUNAS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eugenijus Gnedojus stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Stanislovas Strielkauskas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 61 minutes into the game, FK Patrake's Eugenijus Gnedojus nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ramūnas Knieža made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. When FK Patrake's Viktoras Urbonavicius in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. NEMUNAS KAUNAS's Ramūnas Knieža played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aleksandras Masaitis in the 79th minute of play. If Viktoras Urbonavicius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aistis Kuprys sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The FK Patrake fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. NEMUNAS KAUNAS were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
