Vadimas Jasikevicius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonsas Aleksynas , who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Gintas Katinas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dzidorius Poskus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th match minute, Keyry was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardas Borovskis to maneuver through the defense. Vadimas Jasikevicius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nerijus Gudas in the 17th minute of play. The supporters of Keyry booed when FBK Biliuskiai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simonas Cimermonas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 24 minutes, Gintas Katinas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Keyry's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gintas Katinas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 29th minute, Gintas Katinas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gintas Katinas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Dzidorius Poskus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Keyry's goal looked a bit too open when Nerijus Gudas came free, but Vadimas Jasikevicius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, FBK Biliuskiai's Dzidorius Poskus got control of the ball when Andrejus Cimermonas tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Nerijus Gudas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The wind increased when Gintas Katinas made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Andrejus Cimermonas 's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dzidorius Poskus was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Alfonsas Aleksynas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vadimas Jasikevicius having to interfere. Dzidorius Poskus came out of the goal and Andrejus Cimermonas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nerijus Gudas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dzidorius Poskus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrejus Cimermonas in the 71st minute of the match. Dzidorius Poskus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gintas Katinas's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. 81 minutes into the match, FBK Biliuskiai's goal looked a bit too open when Andrejus Cimermonas came free, but Dzidorius Poskus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Andrejus Cimermonas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dzidorius Poskus was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After 92 played minutes FBK Biliuskiai got a freekick which was hit by Dionizas Kalvaitis. Keyry's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
