Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Vainutas FC's Justinas Stulgys started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Justinas Stulgys sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eidvilas Astrauskas didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-0 via right post in the game's 5th minute. Vainutas FC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! In the 8th minute, Miglius Enčius left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Girbutkia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 11 minutes into the game, Augustinas Bišlys was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vainutas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Girbutkia the free kick. A collision led to Vainutas FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Augustinas Bišlys hit a great ball. Bronius Inda took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vidmantas Jazukevičius. Vidmantas Jazukevičius dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Girbutkia's zone, Justinas Stulgys stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Einaras Zelmikas came out of the goal and Justinas Stulgys tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miglius Enčius kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After having played for 23 minutes, Eidvilas Astrauskas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vainutas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eidvilas Astrauskas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 32nd minute Justinas Stulgys shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Einaras Zelmikas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Einaras Zelmikas managed to avoid a goal in the 42ndth minute, when Vainutas FC's Justinas Stulgys fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Girbutkia's Einaras Zelmikas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Girbutkia from getting a goal against them. Einaras Zelmikas was a little too slow when Justinas Stulgys got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 2-2. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Miglius Enčius stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lukas Vosylius in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Einaras Zelmikas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eidvilas Astrauskas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justinas Stulgys in the 59th minute of play forced Girbutkia's goalkeeper Einaras Zelmikas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vainutas FC were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Girbutkia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Margiris Baktys took the corner. The corner ended in Lukas Vosylius almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Girbutkia's Einaras Zelmikas did a great save. Einaras Zelmikas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Justinas Stulgys went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. When Vainutas FC's Eidvilas Astrauskas in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Girbutkia's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justinas Stulgys in the 68th minute of play forced Girbutkia's goalkeeper Einaras Zelmikas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Lukas Vosylius's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Einaras Zelmikas was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. In the 75th minute Justinas Stulgys shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Einaras Zelmikas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute Miglius Enčius suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. After a rather tough play, Vainutas FC's Augustinas Bišlys got a free kick in the 79th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bronius Inda got free with Vidmantas Jazukevičius in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Einaras Zelmikas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justinas Stulgys, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. If Bronius Inda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Girbutkia getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Vydas Grėbliauskas hit a great ball. 94 minutes into the match, Girbutkia's goal looked a bit too open when Justinas Stulgys came free, but Einaras Zelmikas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lukas Vosylius struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Einaras Zelmikas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vainutas FC. Vainutas FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
